How to enable microphone

I. Help for enabling the microphone

i. Enable the Microphone and Sound in Google Chrome for PC

  1. To change your browser settings, go to the address bar and click on the lock icon to the left of the website address. This lock icon indicates that information is transferred using a secure server connection.
  2. Microphone: Click on the dialog box and choose Allow or Ask
  3. Sound: Click on the dialog box and choose Allow or Ask
  4. When finished, click the X in the upper right corner to close the dialog box.
ii. Enable the Microphone in Safari for mac



  1. To change your browser settings, click on the setting icon to open the setting menu.
  2. Microphone: Click on the dialog box and choose Allow or Ask.
iii. Enable the Microphone in Safari for the iOS device (iPad, iPhone)

 
  1. Open Settings app on your iOS device → Tap on Safari.
  2. Turn on the switch next to Camera & Microphone Access.

II. Help for device problem

i. Microphone problem
  1. Try a different browser.
    2. a. Safari is recommended for mac and ios devices;
    b. Chrome is recommended for other devices.
  2. Check that your microphone is not muted.
  3. Check that the volume on the microphone is not turned all the way down.
  4. Check that your microphone is connected to the correct socket on your computer.
ii. Sound problem
  1. Try a different browser.
    2. a. Safari is recommended for mac and ios devices;
    b. Chrome is recommended for other devices.
  2. Check that your device is not muted.
    3. a. Open the system menu and make sure that the sound is not muted or turned down.
  3. Check that the speakers are turned on and connected properly.
    4. a. If your computer has external speakers, make sure that they are turned on and that the volume is turned up.
  4. Check that the correct sound device is selected.
