The Spring Festival (春节, chūnjié) is the most important holiday in China. Let's join the event together to celebrate the Chinese New Year of Ox. You will enjoy the engaging activities as below:
1. Chinese God of Wealth 迎财神 (yíng cáishén)
Find the most popular god during the Spring Festival: God of Wealth (财神爷，cáishén yé) and help him to create the festival atmosphere in FunChinaWorld.
2. Paste Spring Festival couplet 贴春联 (tiē chūnlián)
Pasting couplet is one of the important customs for celebrating Chinese New Year. It expresses people’s delight and wishes for a better life in the coming year.
There are too many couplets needed to be pasted. Please give God of Health a hand and get your Red Envelopes.
3. Light up the lanterns 点亮灯笼 (diǎn liàng dēnglóng)
For welcoming the new year, people have hung and lighted up their lanterns. But the lanterns will turn dark every 12 hours. Let’s go and light up again, and play the lantern quizzes.
4. Pay a New Year call to everyone 给大家拜年 (gěi dàjiā bàinián)
Paying New Year calls to each other, as a traditional custom of celebrating the Spring Festival, is a must to do. Please go and pay a new year call to the people now. And please remember to be generous with your blessing.
5. Get the yearly pet – Jinniu (Golden Ox, 金牛) 挑战金牛得福字 (tiǎozhàn jīnniú dé fú zì)
In China, 2021 turns to the Year of Ox. Therefore, a special pet – Jinniu is updated to FunChinaWorld now. It is the Spring Festival limited pet. You will collect 5 福 (fú) and redeem the Jinniu at the event shop.
